Rental Agreements

SERVICE OVERVIEW
Rental Agreement Service
A rental agreement provides for a tenancy of a short period that is automatically renewed at the end of the period unless the tenant or landlord ends it by giving written notice. For these month-to-month rentals, the landlord can change the terms of the agreement with proper written notice.
The concept of ownership and possession is a fundamental principle in Jurisprudence. To prove ownership of land, one must show how the property was acquired, maintaining documents like the sale deed, conveyance, proof of taxes, and modern digital identifiers such as Aadhar Card and biometrics.
Tenancy & Legal Framework
Rental or tenancy agreements, including leave and license agreements, are often governed by the Rent Control Act or state-specific Tenancy Acts. Many such agreements are recognized for an 11-month period rather than 12 months, allowing landlords or licensors to manage tenancies with minimum notice.
While leave and license agreements may or may not be registered depending on local regulations, it is crucial to understand the legal protections provided by both general and state Rent Control Acts. These ensure that both parties' rights and responsibilities are clearly defined and legally enforceable.
